There are times I just want to hang out with my friends. But my mom always tells me that I want to live the life of an adult, but really I just want to hang out with my friends; at their houses. I don't see why that is a problem. She says that I will be roaming the streets and that my place is home. You see I am an only child, I have not brothers or sisters, and all my cousins are either way older than me, or way younger than me. So I'm stuck. Friends always invite to come over to their house with their parents there, and when I tell my mom, it's always the same answer. "Cori, your place is home, and that is will you are going to stay." God, I hate it when she says that. My mom and I always get into arguments about this kind of stuff; and of course I always lose. But still, what kind of trouble does she think I am going to get into, when my friends parents there? What kind of trouble? I just want to be a kid, and have some fun. Not crazy fun, but good fun. I don't see what the problem is. Maybe I'm just to young to understand, but I still think that I should have just a little bit more freedom. I don't get into any trouble at school, I'm an honor roll student, and I'm a good kid. Now, why can't I get some rewards for that? Uhh!! And when I am at home, it is so boring, there is nothing to do there. My mom says, read, clean, etc. I clean all the time, because my mom is a cleaning fanatic, and I read all the time at school. So what am I to do? No clue...but I have to find something to do...or else I will go crazy! LOL!!
