High school Story

i'm having a blast in high school. there's so much to do, and there is so much to learn too. of course there is drama that goes around, but as the days go by people just forget about it and move on with their lives. when i first stepped into this school i was nervous but i wasn't too nervous. i knew what i wanted to accomplish in high school and i knew that i was going to have fun. my cousins always told me of their experience in high school and i wanted to have those experiences minus all the boyfriend/girlfriend drama. we had homecoming in november and it was so much fun. everyone thought that it was going to be lame because of all the rules that the teachers laid down, but the dance was not even close to lame. there was so much dancing (juking&grinding)! people had an awesome time. that's all that kids would talk about for like two months, and till this very day people still bring it up. it's funny! school is just fun. it's not everyday that you hear about a kid actually enjoying school, but i do. uic college prep is like a second family for everyone that goes there. the teachers care so much about those students that sometimes it doesn't even feel real. they actually care for you. at other high schools the teachers don't even know your name, but here the teachers know your first, middle, and your last name. it sounds a little creepy, but by them knowing a little bit more about you you know that they actually care about you. so i have enjoyed my high school experience so far! there are 1 1\2 months left of school, and i'm going to make the best of it.
